Evidence from a study published by the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) "strongly suggests" a deadly cholera outbreak in Haiti was started by U.N. peacekeepers from Nepal, reports Defend Haiti.
The disease has killed about 5,500 and sickened more than 363,000, according to the Haitian government.
The U.N. has had no statement.
The outbreak began on Oct. 18, 2010, in the town of Meille, which hosted a United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti...
