Senior Bahraini and Iranian officials met this week in Manama, Bahrain, to discuss defense cooperation, reports the Iranian semi-official Fars News Agency.

The talks between Gen. Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Bahraini defense chief, and Iranian Ambassador to Bahrain Mehdi Aqa-Jafari covered bilateral relations, including defense cooperation, according to Iranian officials.
