The toll from a series of explosions across Baghdad on Tuesday has risen to at least 64 dead and more than 360 wounded, CNN reports.
There were at least 14 car bombs, two roadside bombs and mortar attacks in at least 17 neighborhoods on Tuesday, security officials said.
Shi'ite and mixed Sunni-Shi'ite neighborhoods were targeted, said police.
The strikes were similar to those carried out by Al-Qaida in Iraq, said a U.S. military spokesman.
