The government of Nigeria's central Kaduna state will set up a strike force to attempt to bring security to the region, reports the News Agency of Nigeria.
The announcement, made by the state's governor on Monday, followed a attack the previous day at a Catholic church. Eight were killed and 145 reported injured.
The special security unit will help restore security in the whole state, as well as areas affected by violence, said Gov. Patrick Yakowa.
