A NATO official says the alliance will look into reports that one of its warplanes accidentally bombed Libyan rebels, Reuters reports.
A rebel spokesman said the incident took place near Ajdabiyah. Six trucks armed with anti-aircraft guns were destroyed and 16 fighters were wounded, he said.
"We are investigating where the air strike came from, whether it's NATO or Qaddafi forces," he told Reuters by telephone.
