A new-generation intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) has entered service with Russia's strategic missile forces, Interfax-AVN reports.
The RS-24 Yars missile, equipped with a multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicle, is capable of carrying up to four nuclear warheads.
The first division equipped with the weapon has entered service, said Deputy Defense Minister Vladimir Popovkin.
