Dozens of Russian strategic bombers have begun five days of drills being held near the maritime border with Japan, reports RIA Novosti.
Around 30 Tu-95MS Bear strategic bombers, 10 Tu-22M3 Backfire bombers and two Il-78 aerial tankers are to participate in the exercises, said a Defense Ministry spokesman on Monday.
