The U.S. Air Force may hire private military companies to fly jets to assist with air combat training for its pilots, reports the Daily Beast.
Senior official say the service does not have enough fighters and trained aircrews to simulate enemy aircraft and tactics.
The Air Force has already deactivated one of its specialized training aggressor squadrons that fly F-15C Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon jets in the opposition role.
