Stolen Special Ops Laptops Had No Military Data, Officials Say

U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) officials say that thousands of laptops that were stolen in March from a private contractor did not contain sensitive information, reports the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times.

Earlier this week, the newspaper reported that a break-in on March 6 at iGov's facilities in Tampa led to the theft of thousands of laptops and other equipment.
