State Dept. Puts Pakistani Taliban On Terror List

The United States has placed the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as the Pakistani Taliban, on its list of foreign terrorist organizations, the Indo-Asian News Service reports.
The State Dept. also designated two individuals, Hakimullah Mehsud and Wali Ur Rehman, as senior group leaders, and imposed financial and travel sanctions on them.
