An American citizen has died in war-torn Yemen, said the U.S. State Dept., as cited by USA Today.
John Hamen, of Chesapeake, Va., was confirmed to have died in Yemen, according to a State Dept. spokesman on Monday.
Details were sketchy. State said that under the “respect for the privacy of Mr. Hamen's family, we do not have any additional details to provide."
