Special Tactics Wing Makes Debut At Hurlburt Field, Fla.

The first Air Force special tactics wing has been activated at Hurlburt Field, Fla., reports the Air Force News Service.
The 24th Special Operations Wing stood up Tuesday at a ceremony at the base.
The unit will help the special tactics community meet the growing global requirements of special operations forces, said Lt. Gen. Eric Fiel, the head of the Air Force Special Operations Command.
