The U.S. Army anticipates it will soon upgrade the infrastructure at its combat diver school in Key West, Fla., reports the Dept. of Defense.
Many of the facilities at the Army's Special Forces Underwater Operations School's combat diver qualification are reaching the end of their 20-year service lives.
The six-week course is held on Fleming Key at Naval Air Station Key West, Fla.
