At least 60 percent of registered voters have already taken part in the ongoing southern Sudan independence referendum, says an official in the region's ruling party, as cited by Reuters.
"I know very well that by three days of voting the 60 percent threshold has been passed," the official from the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) told reporters.
Turnout must surpass 60 percent for the results to be declared valid, but the voting commission was not able to confirm...
