South Korea Advances Hypersonic Strike Programs

On Feb. 19, Army Recognition reported that Hyundai Rotem unveiled a conceptual air-launched anti-ship missile shortly after the successful launch of its land-based Hycore hypersonic vehicle.

The new airborne variant, believed to be related to the K-HCM, features structural and aerodynamic modifications, including a single booster and enlarged wings for sustained hypersonic cruise, building on scramjet propulsion technologies validated by the earlier Hycore test.
