South Africans Agree To More Defense Cooperation

Delegates say the initial meeting of the Angola-South Africa Bilateral Defense Committee was constructive, reports the Angola Press Agency.

The three days of talks in Luanda that ended on Thursday were aimed at strengthening defense cooperation between the two nations, said Gen. Solly Shake, the head of the South African military.

Representatives agreed to an action program for additional cooperation, said the general.
