The U.S. military has deployed Patriot long-range anti-aircraft missiles in Lithuania for NATO military exercises, reports the Baltic Times.
This is the first time the system has been deployed in the Baltics, reported Reuters.
The Patriot battery was brought to Lithuania's Siauliai military base on Monday ahead of the Tobruk Legacy exercise, which starts on July 11, said a Lithuanian Defense Ministry spokesman.
