'Sons Of Iraq' To Be Absorbed By April

Over the coming three months, the United States will complete the handover of control of the "Sons of Iraq" security forces to the Iraqi government, reports the Stars and Stripes.
The handover was initially planned to be completed by June, officials said.
The Iraqi government began paying the salaries of 51,000 members in Baghdad three months ago, with another 20,000 expected to be placed on the government payroll by February, according to U.S. officials.
