Soldiers Storm Capital, Prime Minister Arrested

In an apparent coup attempt, troops have taken over the streets of Bissau, the capital of the West African nation of Guinea-Bissau, reports the Voice of America News.
On Friday, soldiers attacked the home of outgoing Prime Minister Carlos Gomes, who is the frontrunner in the presidential race, said witnesses.
Gomes was arrested by troops, AFP reported. He was expected to win an April 29 run-off election.
