Eight people have been killed in a military barracks in Tunisia.
A soldier on Monday fired on his comrades at a military base in the capital, killing seven and wounding 10 others, reports the Guardian (U.K.).
The incident took place at the Bouchoucha base in Tunis during a flag-raising ceremony, according to Tunisia's TAP news agency.
The soldier apparently attacked one soldier with a knife before taking his weapon. The attacker was shot and killed, reported the BBC.
