A U.S. Army battalion commander has been shot and killed by an enlisted man at Fort Bragg, N.C., reports ABC News.
The soldier was in the 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, according to an Army statement.
The battalion and commander were not identified in the release from Fort Bragg.
