Soldier Killed In Attack In East

A Ukrainian soldier has been killed and two others wounded in attacks by Russian-backed rebels in eastern Ukraine, reports the Kyiv Post. 

The soldier was killed on Tuesday in an attack by Russian-led forces in the Donbas region, said the military.

The other two soldiers were injured in separate incidents in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. 

The attacks involved 82-mm mortars and an infantry fighting vehicle in addition to grenade launchers and small arms, the military said.
