The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has dismissed a soldier for disclosing military secrets over his smartphone, reports the South China Morning Post.
The soldier, last name Chen, bought a second-hand smartphone without authorization and allegedly used it to discuss military secrets with friends and family and send military-related photos over messaging apps, the Eastern Theater Command said on Tuesday.
