Software Issues, Pandemic Hit Stryker Air Defense Vehicle

The U.S. Army’s Interim Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (IM-SHORAD) system has experienced minor delays due to software issues and the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, reports Defense News.

The system, based on the Stryker wheeled armored vehicle, was scheduled to complete developmental testing in June, but this was postponed due to software integration issues, reported Jane’s.
