Sniper Charged With Manslaughter

The Israeli military has charged one of its own snipers with manslaughter for killing two Palestinian women waving a white flag during last year's Gaza conflict, RTT News reports.
The unidentified staff sergeant allegedly opened fire on the women as they approached an Israeli military position among a group of civilians.
The shooting has been the subject of a probe by the human-rights group B'Tselem and mentioned in a U.N. war crimes report.
