Snap Election Set For September After Parliament Dissolved

Italian President Serio Mattarella has dissolved Parliament following the resignation of Prime Minister Mario Draghi, reports CNN.
Draghi resigned on July 21, with Mattarella dissolving Parliament later in the day.
The president called it a last resort, noting that there was no possibility for the government to form a new majority after it lost a confidence vote on July 20.
New national elections have been scheduled for Sept. 25.
