Sikorsky Unveils Raider X For Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft Program

Sikorsky has announced that it will submit the Raider X helicopter, based on its coaxial rotor technology, for the Army’s Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) program. The Raider X is a scaled-up version of the S-97 Raider technology demonstrator that was originally developed for the Army’s unsuccessful Armed Scout program to replace the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, reported Defense News.
