Sikorsky Sweetens Helicopter Bid

Sikorsky Aircraft has improved its bid for a helicopter contract with the Turkish government, Defense News reports.
Sikorsky, a U.S. company, is competing against Italian company AgustaWestland for a $4 billion contract for the joint production of 109 utility helicopters.
Sikorsky is offering the T-70, a Turkish version of the S-70i Black Hawk International, while AgustaWestland is proposing the TUHP 149, a Turkish version of its newly designed A149 utility helicopter
