Sikorsky Moves Forward With X2 Light Attack Helo Prototypes

Sikorsky Aircraft has officially gone ahead with a decision to design, build and fly two prototype light tactical helicopters as the next phase of its X2 technology project, reports the Connecticut-based defense firm.
The company said it will privately fund the design of the S-97 light tactical helicopter and build two prototypes, to be designated as the Raider X2.
