Ship Joins BALTRON Command, Now Headed By Lithuanian Officer

A Lithuanian naval officer has just assumed command of the Baltic Naval Squadron (BALTRON), which includes ships from the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian navies, reports the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.

Lt. Cmdr. Andrius Sirvys replaces Cmdr. Indrek Hanson of the Estonian navy. Sirvys served as the chief of staff of BALTRON for the last six months.
