Shifting Jobs To Air Force Reserve Seen As Way To Save Money

Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard leaders have suggested that the Air Force could cut costs without reducing combat capabilities by transferring some jobs to the reserve, reports the Air Force Times.

The Air Force is going to have to adjust what it does to compensate for the expected tight budgets over the next several years, said Lt. Gen. Charles Stenner, the head of the Air Force Reserve.
