In Shift, Kuala Lumpur Cuts Imports From N. Korea; Exports Continue

The Malaysian government has halted all imports from North Korea as part of the international efforts to limit the funding for Pyongyang's nuclear and missile programs, reports Reuters.

Malaysia, which has been close to Pyongyang in the past, did not purchase any North Korean goods in June and July. This came after it bought about US$4.9 million in goods during the first five months of the year, according to government figures.
