Sherpa Scout Vehicles Ordered From Renault

The Indonesian military has finalized a pair of deals with Renault Trucks Defense of France for light vehicles and powerpacks, reports the French firm.

The contractsm through Indonesia's state-owned PT Pindad company covers Sherpa scout vehicles and powerpack kits for Panser 6 x 6 armored vehicles.

The Panser is based on the French VAB vehicle.

The Sherpa vehicles will be in the hard-top cargo configuration. Twelve VAB 320 powerpacks will also be supplied, officials said. ...
