A contest in the U.K. plans to encourage young hackers to join various cyber security efforts, reports the Times of London.
The British competition emulates the U.S. government-backed Cyber Challenge earlier this year. The competition is backed by the SANS Institute, a computer training body.
Entrants may be asked to take part in a series of virtual simulations, where they are asked to extract passwords from computers, capture Web sites or fight off cyber attacks.
