South Korea and the United States have decided to hold a series of naval drills this year in a show of strength aimed at North Korea, Agence France-Presse reports.
Seoul and Washington plan to go ahead with war games this month in the Sea of Japan, officials said. Those drills were originally planned for the Yellow Sea, but were moved due to Chinese objections.
There have been unconfirmed rumors that the July exercise will include a U.S. aircraft carrier.
