Seoul Dispatches Destroyer To Rescue Tanker Hijacked By Pirates

South Korea has sent a destroyer and 300 personnel to the Arabian Sea in an attempt to rescue a South Korean-operated tanker hijacked by Somali pirates, the Christian Science Monitor reports.
The Maltese-flagged and Norwegian-owned Samho Jewelry was seized on Saturday in the Arabian Sea with 21 crew members, said naval officials.
The destroyer left Sunday for the two-day journey to the area, the officials said.
