Senior Naval Officials From U.K., France, U.S. Formalize ASW Accord In Bahrain

Naval leaders from France, the U.K. and U.S. have agreed to improve coordination for anti-submarine warfare activities in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations, reports the Navy NewsStand.

The 5th Fleet is responsible for the Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Arabian Sea and parts of the Indian Ocean.

Vice Adm. Kevin Donegan, the commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) signed the trilateral agreement on June 1 at the NAVCENT headquarters in Bahrain along with Vice Adm....
