A senior commander in the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), a Ugandan militant group, will be tried by the International Criminal Court (ICC) after he surrendered last week, reports the BBC.
Dominic Ongwen, a deputy to LRA chief Joseph Kony, will be sent to the ICC for trial, said a Ugandan army spokesman on Tuesday.
The identity of Ongwen has been confirmed, according to Ugandan officials.
