Senior IED Facilitator Killed

An operation involving a joint force of Afghan and international troops resulted in the death of a senior improvised explosive device (IED) facilitator in Helmand province, NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) reports.

The joint team went on Monday to an area in Chagai Hills where insurgents had collected bomb-making materials and were transporting them, military officials said.
