Senior AQAP Leader Killed In U.S. Operation, Acknowledges Group

The Yemen-based Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) terrorist group has announced the death of one of its senior commanders, reports CNN.
Nasr Ibn Ali al-Ansi was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen, said an AQAP spokesman on Thursday.
A U.S. official said al-Ansi was killed several weeks ago in Yemen's eastern Hadramout province, reported the Wall Street Journal.
