Police in Gambia have arrested three more people linked to the seizure of more than two tons of cocaine last week, Agence France-Presse reports.
Two Gambians and a Nigerian were arrested on Tuesday, Gambian officials said.
The cocaine haul, worth roughly US$1 billion, was discovered outside the capital of Banjul on Friday, officials said. Police were investigating a dozen suspects who were arrested last month in the village of Bonto with 6.6 pounds of the drug.
