Security Troops Clash With Taliban Near Afghan Border

Pakistani security forces said they killed at least 20 Taliban insurgents Tuesday in Mohmand province near the Afghan border, Reuters reports.
The Mohmand Rifles paramilitary force was backed by Pakistani aircraft, tanks and artillery, said security officials.
The troops targeted five border villages known to be strongholds of Al-Qaida and the Taliban, said a spokesman for the paramilitary group.
