Kurdish rebels killed three Turkish troops Monday in an attack on a military outpost in southeastern Turkey, reports the Zaman (Istanbul).
Ten militants from the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) died during the fighting, according to Turkish security officials.
The attack took place in the Semdinli district of Hakkari province near the Iraqi border. More troops were dispatched to hunt for the remaining militants. said officials.
