Security Operation Breaks Up Hamas Network In W. Bank

Israeli security forces say they have arrested two dozen Hamas activists in the West Bank, reports Haaretz (Israel).

The suspects were seeking to renew Hamas activities in the region under the direction of the Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip and Qatar, according to a release from Israel's Shin Bet security service.

The operation was a joint one by the military, Shin Bet and police, reported the Jerusalem Post.

The 24 activists were arrested in the Qalqilya area as well...
