Security Minister, 5 Others Die In Helicopter Crash

The nation's minister of internal security was among six people killed in a helicopter crash outside Kenya's capital of Nairobi, reports the Independent (U.K.).

A police helicopter went down on Sunday shortly after takeoff from an airport in Ngong, said officials.

Internal Security Minister George Saitoti, an assistant minister, two pilots and two bodyguards were killed in the crash, reported AFP.
