Security Forces Rescue Kidnapped Canadian Women

Ghanaian security forces have rescued two Canadians in an operation in the central Ashanti region, reports the Citi Newsroom (Ghana). 

Security personnel successfully rescued the two women in an operation on Wednesday, according to a Ministry of Information statement. 

Canadian authorities collaborated with Ghanaian police to locate the victims, who were kidnapped on June 4 from Kumasi, the regional capital.
