The Iraqi government has banned its security forces from using live ammunition against demonstrators amid ongoing protests, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Strict instructions have been given that no live ammunition is to be used. Security forces are also prohibited from having live ammunition at the scene of any protests, an Iraqi military spokesman said.
