A top Taliban commander was killed Wednesday during fighting with Pakistani security forces in Swat, reports the Press Trust of India.
The commander was a close aide of militant leader Baitullah Mehsud, who was also recently killed.
Nisar Ahmed was also associated with Swat Taliban chief Maulana Fazlullah, according to Pakistani army officials.
