Security Forces Break Up Radical Islamist Cell

The Moroccan government says its security forces have broken up a radical Islamist cell that was planning attacks, Reuters reports.
The Palestinian-led group had 11 members and were followers of a radical strain of Islam, Interior Ministry officials said.
Officials said the Takfirie group is distinct from Al-Qaida, and usually attacks Muslim government officials and secular intellectuals rather than foreign targets.
