The Pakistani military says its security forces have thwarted a potential terrorist attack in Karachi and arrested several suspects, reports Dawn (Pakistan).
The "foreign-sponsored gang" planned to sabotage Pakistan's Independence Day celebrations on Aug. 14, said a statement by the military's ISPR, as reported by the domestic Express Tribune.
